This week Maurice chaired the Talia Trust Annual AGM. The meeting concerned the financial year 2025 which was marked by the ongoing conflict and its severe effects on the young people who need the support of the Talia Trust. Immediately after Passover, we continued full force to give more and more students the opportunity to use our services Some students will want to continue during the summer break, and we already have a long waiting list for new students.

Our volunteer has made her regular 3 monthly visit to the Neve Yosef Centre in Haifa to discuss the Talia Trust project with the teachers. There are 2 small groups of children who meet for an hour twice a week after their day in their local primary schools. One of the teachers, Sarah, commented that despite the prolonged break because of the war situation, she felt the children had not gone backwards (which is often the case) but returned at the same level as before.
